BredaMenarinibus wins two contracts in Turkey and Spain worth a total of over 26 million euro
BredaMenarinibus, a Finmeccanica company, has won two important contracts in Turkey and Spain to supply 99 next-generation methane powered buses. The contracts are worth a total of over 26 million euro.
Pier Francesco Guarguaglini, Chairman and CEO of Finmeccanica, commented: “These successes are the result of the turnaround carried out in the past few years at BredaMenarinibus, which thanks to a new management team, strong investment in research and development, and a review of production processes, has in only a few years regained its competitiveness both in Italy and abroad, with a range of cutting-edge products”.

BredaMenarinubus signs contract worth around 40 million Euro to supply 45 buses to Roma MetropolitaneBredaMenarinubus, a Finmeccanica company, has signed a contract worth around 40 million Euro to supply 45 articulated buses to Roma Metropolitane, which is responsible for the accomplishment of the underground railway lines of Rome as well as all the activities related to the city’s public transport system. The contract also covers full service activities and an option for a further 45 vehicles worth an additional 40 million Euro.
