Quality & Environment

BredaMenarinibus is a company in which the Quality Management System is certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008; certificate n° 160302 of Lloyd's Register Certification
This certification is the final step of a company strategy always aimed to the product quality improvement: since 1991 BredaMenarinibus used the method of planning checks along the entire manufacturing process and introduced severe procedures for qualification and suppliers control.
At the end of 1996 the company, aware that the implementation of a Quality Insurance program was the starting point to achieve a high standard of competitiveness based on the customer satisfaction, and on the improvement of the company efficiency, started the certification process for its Quality Management System according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:1994 achieving the certification in June 1997.
Since then BredaMenarinibus has always been acting in conformity to this regulation, keeping under control its own Quality Management System. This allowed to update this system to the requirements of the new regulation (ISO 9001:2000), achieving the relevant certification on June 2003. Further upgrade to the ISO 9001:2008 Regulation was achieved in 2009.

The Environmental Management System of BredaMenarinibus is certified compliant with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 (certificate no. 11-E10200649-TIC issued by TÜV InterCert).
The aim of Environmental Management System is to identify key environmental aspects of the company, to keep them under control, to coordinate all activities with environmental impact and allocate specific responsibilities for their implementation. Environmental problems thus become an integral part of business management. BredaMenarinibus has defined voluntary objectives whose achievement is continuously monitored.
Being certified according to UNI EN ISO 14001 has meant the achievement of the following benefits:
- Reduce the costs associated with environmental aspects;
- Reduce environmental risks;
- Embed the management of mandatoryenvironmental regulatory requirements;
- To improve competitiveness;
- Improve the corporate image, communicating to the outside the commitment to respecting the environment.
